Senator Calls Facebook's Security for Children "Completely Indefensible"

The amount of Child Pornography - a form of human trafficking - on Facebook is only getting worse. Despite claims by Facebook and others that they are taking steps to prevent illegal images of children from being posted by pedophiles on the site, thousands of felonious images and videos depicting child abuse of every kind are displayed on the site every day.

The problem with Facebook's security is so pronounced, that US Senator Jay Rockefeller told a Senate Hearing this week that the Company's efforts are "completely indefensible."

Only a small fraction of the criminals using Facebook to trade and view illicit images of children - thereby co-validating their violent activities - are ever caught by Law Enforcement. Here is a list of recent arrests involving men who have been charged and convicted of using Facebook for posting Child Pornography:
Facebook Child Porn Arrest One

There are two things you can do right now to tell Facebook to end their complicity in these crimes:

#1 - Join over 17,000 people in the Facebook Cause Here.
#2 - Send a direct message to Federal Legislators and Facebook Executives - including Mark Zuckerberg - here.

Next to spending time with your family, this will be the most valuable five minutes of your day.
